The LGBT Community Endowment Fund, a donor advised fund of The Erie Community Foundation, was established in 2014 by a grant from the Greater Erie Alliance for Equality to address the unique challenges that LGBT people face every day.
The mission of the LGBT Community Endowment Fund is to provide financial support to organizations that address the community’s unique challenges and to create a positive, thriving environment.
Through the power of collective philanthropy, contributions to the Fund generate impactful grants to nonprofit organizations and projects throughout NWPA. These grants will address wide-ranging needs focused on key priorities, examples of which are:

The LGBT Community Endowment, a donor advised fund of The Erie Community Foundation, is, therefore, issuing this Request for Proposals.
We are currently seeking proposals for projects that address various needs in the LGBTQIA community, which include but are not limited to:
The LGBT Community Endowment has committed $5,000 for this mini-grant cycle. Individual proposals will be accepted for any amount between $2,500 and $5,000.
Eligibility: any Erie County 501(c)3 nonprofit
Ineligibility: for-profit, sectarian religious activities, fund-raising solely, hospitality projects
Deadline: Applications must be submitted by May 28, 2021 by clicking here.
Important Dates: Finalist(s) will be selected by June 30, 2021 and grant recipient(s) will be announced in July.
