2023 Helping Today Advisory Committee Announced

Each year, The Erie Community Foundation's staff and Board of Trustees invite individuals to serve on our Helping Today Community Advisory Committee. The Helping Today Community Advisory Committee is intended to be representative of our community and works to evaluate and prioritize grant applications. Helping Today Community Advisory Committee members are considered industry experts, having professional or community leadership experience in areas such as education, economic development, healthcare, social services, workforce and career readiness, and youth programming.

All committee members share common goals of building a stronger, more equitable and prosperous Erie County and understand that the nonprofit sector is critical in offering supports and opportunities for residents to achieve success and improved quality of living.

The Helping Today Community Advisory Committee is a diverse collection of individuals that:

  • bring unique knowledge and skills
  • share valuable insight and expertise
  • are dedicated to improving the quality of life for all in our region by ensuring a vital nonprofit sector
  • convene quarterly for the purpose of evaluating and prioritizing grant applications, identifying community needs, and making funding recommendations
