Our Mission: A place of welcome hospitality for an east side Erie neighborhood, the House of Mercy, established and sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, promotes a healthy neighborhood by providing activities and advocacy that engage adults and children in positive experiences for them and their neighborhood.
Programs and Services
- Children's activities are Mon-Thurs from 6-8pm and include self esteem and conflict resolution, arts and crafts, environmental education, and theme based activities.
- Adult activities include: cooperation with local agencies, neighborhood asset assessment, referrals, ESL home tutoring, educational mentoring, computer assistance, beautification programs and collaboration with the Burton Diehl Neighborhood Organization.
