Mission

The Erie Police Athletic League, supported by the Erie Police Department, Erie County Sheriff's Office, Erie District Attorney’s Office and the Gannon University Police Department is dedicated to assisting and inspiring Erie youth to realize their full individual potential as productive members of society and to avoid criminal activity. This is accomplished by enabling active Police Officers and Sheriff's Deputies, supported by civilian volunteers, to offer educational, athletic, and recreational programs to at-risk youth. Our efforts are coordinated with the Erie School District, existing community centers and programs to provide a safe place for Erie's youth to learn and grow, nurtured by a special relationship with deputies and officers.
