The Eagle's Nest Leadership Corporation (ENLC) has a specific vision of providing educational programming, life skills and workforce training, career development, and community civility for Erie's at-risk youth. ENLC instills hope for a future by eliminating obstacles, providing a concrete plan to a career, strengthening education, stimulating the economy, and transforming minds for life-readiness instead of the "just getting by" mentality of our youth.
Programs and Services
- Employability Initiative (began August, 2015) provides life skills, workforce training and employment for young adults; the School of Financial Literacy (began September, 2016) teaches financial independence to middle and high school students; the African-American Boys Academy (began June, 2017) trains young elementary school-aged boys to become respectable, goal-oriented young men; the Eagle's Nest Group Daycare (began August, 2018) provides effective, affordable childcare services for the surrounding community; the Eagle's Nest School of Academic Distinction (began, September 2019) offers a new, unique, and transformational public school for Kindergarten and 6th - 8th grade students; the Eagle's Nest Athletic Center (construction starting 2022) a 10,000 sq. foot indoor safe, positive space for the community all-year around.
