Mission

Dafmark Dance Theater's mission is to offer a unique, creative and educational experience in the arts of dance that is steeped in social consciousness. This includes the use of other art forms as a means to deepen our cultural and educational message. Our education, community outreach programming, and professional performances are rooted in the belief that compassion, understanding and empathy are the building blocks of a diverse and inclusive community.

Programs and Services

  • Original Dance Productions and Outreach Programs such as:
  • -The Partners in Dance program with Erie Homes for Children and Adults (EHCA) began its 20th year of programming on October 4th, 2021.
  • - Our long term residency with St. Martin Early Learning Center begin its 9th year of working with teaching artist Jennifer Dennehy.
  • - The Dafmark Creative Arts and Library Center @ John E. Horan Garden Apartments is now in its second year.
