Corry Area Historical Society Inc

Mission

To collect and preserve any article or articles pertaining to the history of the Corry Area, which encompasses the Corry Area School District, along with any other activity not inconsistent with the foregoing that may be engaged by an exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and its regulations, as amended ; to receive and maintain funds, subject to the restrictions and limitations set forth in the articles; and to use and apply the whole or any part of income from these funds and the principal of these funds for charitable, scientific, or educational purposes, either directly or by contributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code.

Programs and Services

• The Corry Area Historical Society and Museum gives people a chance to see History in the Corry Area thru the museum. We accept items of interest to may people. We have speakers come during the summer months. We have people working on Thursday, who do clipping and gluing newspaper articles in binders for people to read. The museum is open on Thursday and by appointment to do tours of the facility. We love to see everyone.
