The Burleigh Legacy Alliance, Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to revive and expand the legacy of Erie-born Harry T. Burleigh; celebrating Harry T. Burleigh's contributions to the music of America and the world through his roles as baritone singer, composer, role model, arranger, champion of African American traditional music and artist of the Harlem Renaissance.
