YEP and Erie Reader to Partner for New ‘40 Under 40 Experience’

Young Erie Professionals (YEP) and the Erie Reader will announce details behind Erie’s 40 Under 40 Experience, a unique cocktail-chic celebration that will be held this fall in downtown Erie.

The new partnership between YEP and the Erie Reader is designed to celebrate Erie’s brightest young professionals and entrepreneurs. The media announcement will be held at Lovell Place, which will be transformed later this fall when it serves as the location for Erie’s 40 Under 40 Experience.

When: Wednesday, August 15 at 10:00 a.m. 

Where: Lovell Place (Second floor), 153 E. 13th St.                   

Who: Kristi Bailey, president of YEP, Adam Welsh, editor in chief of the Erie Reader, and Michael Batchelor, president of The Erie Community Foundation, will offer remarks about Erie’s 40 Under 40 Experience and their vision for this new annual event.

What: Presented by The Erie Community Foundation, Erie’s 40 Under 40 Experience will be used as a platform to showcase how young people are transforming this great city. The event will showcase the talents of past and present 40 Under 40 recipients, and more than 200 attendees are expected. Several local breweries, distilleries, musicians, restaurants and artists will all be in attendance.
