The Regional Cancer Center Foundation raises money to support the Regional Cancer Center’s work providing treatment and support services to persons with cancer and blood disorders in the Erie region. 100% of donations support local programs. Many of the programs that mean the most to cancer patients are not funded by insurance payments, they are made possible by charitable gifts.
Programs and Services
- Seeding new initiatives for patient treatment as innovative options become available
- Supporting national cancer treatment clinical trials in Erie
- Renovating building space to accommodate new services and opportunities for enhanced safety and efficiency
- Supporting community cancer prevention education and our community care cancer screening program
- Paying for transportation to and from treatment for patients who do not have a car or a family member to bring them to the cancer center
- Ensuring patients do not go without their medications (many patients do not have insurance or money to pay for their medications)
