Great Ideas
The goal of Great Ideas funding is to transform ideas into a reality.
Examples of allowable requests include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
- Proposes an innovative project, program, and event;
- Activities to encourage broad community engagement and/or collaborations.
Priority is given to the requests that demonstrate:
- A clearly identified need;
- A justifiable solution and approach that has been fully researched and is unique for the community;
- A strong team and a plan for implementation;
- And, a realistic and reasonable budget.
Great Idea grants are typically between $5,000-15,000.
Organizations can apply for awards once a year from both Basic Needs or Great Ideas funds.
