For Grant Seekers

Helping Today...

Since 1935, The Erie Community Foundation has been helping local charities effectively and efficiently achieve their goals. Whether a grant is for capital improvements, program development, transportation or technological enhancements, we strive to fund projects that touch many lives and enrich the overall quality of life in our region. During 2008, we anticipate awarding $825,000 through our traditional competitive grantmaking program to continue work in four program areas: Quality of Life, Human Services, Health and Education. Just like our founders, our goal is still to help with today’s immediate needs and missions.

Thanks to a $7,500 Helping today grant from The Erie Community Foundation, Emergycare installed new GPS units in it’s emergency vehicles. Emergycare is just one of seventeen charities impacted by Helping today grantmaking, which reacts to the immediate needs of local charities.
